Registration Opens for Programs: Programs must register for CASPR and update their information for the CASPR Program Directory on the AACPM website.

NMS Match System Opens for Program Account Setup: The Program Director of each eligible program is sent a personalized email to set up an account in the NMS Match System for the 2027 CASPR. Programs that do not both register with AACPM and set up an account in the NMS Match System will not be able to receive applications or participate in the 2027 CASPR until both steps are completed.

List of Participating Programs: The list of participating programs is published on this website. This list is updated regularly to reflect changes in program participation.

Applicant Registration and Applications Open: The NMS Match System opens for applicants to register for CASPR and begin preparing and submitting applications. Prior to registering, applicants should review the information in the Applicant Registration page on this website. Applicants cannot send applications until they have registered for CASPR.

Recommended Deadline for College Material Upload: By this date, colleges should upload to the NMS Match System all the material required from the college to complete their students' applications (clinicals, transcript, class rank, GPA, and Dean's letter if applicable).

Program Default Application Deadline: This is the default application deadline date for programs participating in CASPR. Applications must be submitted in the NMS Match System before 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on this date to be included in the initial set of applications provided to programs. Programs are permitted, but are not obligated, to extend their individual application deadline past this date. Programs are encouraged, but not required, to consider College Materials and reference letters uploaded after their application deadline date.

Applicants must submit any required Supplemental Fees & Materials directly to programs. For all programs applied to, consult the relevant CASPR Directory pages to determine if additional items are required, and contact the program directly for the deadline to submit those items.

Interview Invitations Begin: Programs can start sending interview invitation emails to applicants. Applicants begin receiving interview invitations by email and can book themselves into available interview times. Interview itineraries for applicants and programs are updated in real-time.

Match Rank Order List Deadline: Applicant and program Rank Order Lists must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. No Rank Order Lists, withdrawals, interview events, or bookings can be submitted in the NMS Match System after 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on this date.

Match Status Day: Match Status results are released to applicants, programs, and colleges. More information about the details of result distribution is available on the Applicant Results, Program Results, and College Results webpages on this website.

MP II Begins: Applicants who do not obtain a position in the Match can log in to the NMS Match System to begin preparing and submitting applications to programs with positions available in the MP II second match.

MP II Application Deadline: This is the default application deadline date for programs participating in MP II. Programs are permitted, but not obligated, to extend their application deadline past this date. Applicants must submit their MP II applications in the NMS Match System before 12:00 p.m. noon Eastern Time on the program's MP II application deadline date.

MP II Applications Open for Programs: Programs participating in MP II can log in to the NMS Match System to access the applications submitted to their program for MP II.

MP II Rankings Open: Applicants and programs may begin to submit Rank Order Lists for MP II in the NMS Match System.

MP II Rank Order List Deadline: Applicant and program Rank Order Lists must be submitted by 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time. No Rank Order Lists, applications, or withdrawals can be submitted in the NMS Match System after this deadline.

MP II Status Day: MP II applicants are notified of their MP II result status, whether or not they obtained a position in MP II. Full Match results are released to programs and colleges. Unmatched applicants should contact their college for assistance in obtaining positions that remain available.

NMS Match System Closes: The NMS Match System closes for applicants, programs, and colleges at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Applicants, programs, and colleges must download their CASPR reports and information by this date.
