Release Dates and Content
Match Status Day
On March 10, 2025, Match Status information will be emailed to participating programs by 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time and will be available in the NMS Match System beginning at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
- Programs will be told the number of positions filled and unfilled for each of their track(s).
- Applicants will have access to information on whether or not they have been matched to a position.
- A list of programs with positions available in MPII will be posted publicly on this website.
MPII Status Day
On March 20, 2025, full result information will be emailed to all programs by 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time, and will be available in the NMS Match System at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
- Programs will have access to the list of applicants matched to their program in the Match and MPII.
- Applicants who participated in MPII will have access to information on whether or not they have been matched to a position in MPII.
- Colleges will have access to the results of their students and information on positions that remain available.
- Unmatched applicants will be instructed to contact their college for assistance in obtaining positions that remain available.
Match Day
On March 21, 2025, full Match result information will be provided to all participating applicants by their colleges in Match Day ceremonies, and will be released in the NMS Match System at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Full Match result information will also be emailed to participating applicants starting at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
- Applicants who obtained a position in either the Match or MPII will have access to the specific program and track to which they matched.
- A list of programs with positions available in the Post-Match Process will be posted on the AACPM website.
For each release date, the same result information will be provided by email and online. Any program that does not receive its result by email should access its result online.
Filling Available Positions After Each Phase of CASPR
After Match Status Day: Participate in MPII
Programs with unfilled positions in the Match will offer those positions to unmatched applicants in MPII.
Applicants who did not obtain a position in the Match will be able to use the NMS Match System to prepare and submit applications for MPII beginning at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time on March 10, 2025.
Programs will have access to MPII applications and can download a file of information on unmatched applicants from the NMS Match System starting at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time on March 12, 2025.
The entry of rankings for MPII will open at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time on March 12, 2025. All programs and applicants participating in MPII must submit their Rank Order Lists by the MPII Rank Order List deadline (3:00 p.m. Eastern Time on March 17, 2025). A second match will be carried out using those Rank Order Lists, and the match results will be released as described above.
After MPII: Participate in the Post-Match Process
Starting at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time on March 20, 2025, unmatched applicants will be instructed to contact their college for assistance in obtaining positions that remain available.
Beginning on March 21, 2025, a list of programs with positions available in the Post-Match Process will be posted publicly on the AACPM website.
Programs may fill positions during the Post-Match Process with any individual who did not secure a position through CASPR. Programs obtain applications in the Post-Match Process directly from applicants (i.e., not through the NMS Match System).
Match Statistics
Aggregate statistics on the participation and outcome of the Match will be posted online by March 23, 2025.
