Release Dates and Content
Match Status Day
On March 8, 2027, Match Status information will be emailed to participating applicants by 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time and will be available in the NMS Match System beginning at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
- All applicants who participated in the Match will have access to information on whether or not they have been matched to a position.
- A list of programs with positions available in MP II will be posted publicly on this website.
- Programs will be told the number of positions filled in each of their tracks.
MP II Status Day
On March 18, 2027, MP II Status information will be emailed to applicants who participated in MP II by 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time and will be available in the NMS Match System beginning at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
- All applicants who participated in MP II will have access to information on whether or not they have been matched to a position in MP II.
- Programs will have access to the list of applicants matched to each of their tracks in the Match and MP II.
- Colleges will have access to the results of their students and information on positions that remain available.
- Unmatched applicants should contact their college for assistance in obtaining positions that remain available.
Match Day
On March 19, 2027, full result information will be provided to all participating applicants by their colleges in Match Day ceremonies, and will be released in the NMS Match System at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Full result information will also be emailed to participating applicants starting at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
- Applicants who obtained a position in either the Match or MP II will have access to the specific program and track to which they matched.
- A list of programs with positions available in the Post-Match Process will be posted publicly on the AACPM website.
For each release date, the same result information will be provided by email and online. Any applicant who does not receive their result by email should access their result online.
Information on Positions Available After Each Phase of CASPR
After the Match: Participate in MP II
Beginning at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time on March 8, 2027, a list of programs with positions available in MP II will be available on this website. Registered applicants who did not match are eligible to participate in MP II and will be able to access the NMS Match System to prepare and submit applications for MP II.
Programs will have access to MP II applications and can download a file of information on unmatched applicants from the NMS Match System starting at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time on March 10, 2027.
The entry of rankings for MP II will open at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time on March 10, 2027. All applicants and programs in MP II must submit their Rank Order Lists by the MP II Rank Order List deadline, 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time on March 15, 2027. A second match will be carried out using those Rank Order Lists and match results will be released as described above.
After MP II: Participate in the Post-Match Process
Starting at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time on March 18, 2027, unmatched applicants should contact their college for assistance in obtaining positions that remain available.
Beginning on March 19, 2027, a list of programs with positions available in the Post-Match Process will be posted publicly on the AACPM website.
Programs may fill positions during the Post-Match Process with any individual who did not secure a position through CASPR. Applicants can download their previously submitted applications from the NMS Match System to send to programs directly (i.e., not through the NMS Match System). If you have questions about a program's application procedures during the Post-Match Process, contact the program directly.
Match Statistics
Aggregate statistics on the participation and outcome of the Match will be posted online by March 19, 2027.
