Results & Post-Match
I will be unavailable to receive emails the day results are released.
If you will be unable to receive email or access your doctoral program's Match results online on Match Day, you can provide a written and signed request to NMS on doctoral program letterhead, prior to Match Day, to send an email of the results to an alternate contact.
The alternate email will not replace the email currently on file in the NMS Match System. All account and doctoral program contact information will remain the same.
The alternate contact will receive an email with the Match results on Match Day. NMS will send the results to only one email address for each doctoral program.
What happens if some of my student aren't matched to a position?
After Phase I
Internship programs with unfilled positions after Phase I will offer their available positions in Phase II of the Match. Registered applicants who did not obtain a position in Phase I are eligible to participate in Phase II of the Match.
After Phase II
No list of programs with unfilled positions after Phase II of the Match is distributed or provided on the APPIC Match website. Starting on March 21 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time, APPIC will operate a Post-Match Vacancy Service that will provide information on available positions. Applicants should consult APPIC’s Post-Match Vacancy Service to identify training sites with positions available.
