Match result information will be posted at 10:00 a.m. ET on March 25, 2019.
When the results are released, the following result information will be available to training sites:
- Training Sites that participated in each Phase of the Match will be told which applicant(s) matched to their site, and whether or not the site has any unfilled positions.
- Training Sites will also be informed of the Match result obtained by each applicant ranked by the site for that Phase of the Match.
- Summary statistics of the results of the Match will be posted publicly on APPIC's web site.
E-mail: Match result notification e-mails will be sent to all training sites and applicants that submitted Rank Order Lists for each Phase of the Match. The e-mails are sent in the morning of the Match Results Release Date for each Phase of the Match with the intention of having all e-mails sent by 9:00 a.m. ET. Due to unreliable e-mail exchanges and inbound servers, we cannot guarantee a delivery time for the e-mails.
Web: Beginning at 10:00 a.m. ET on the Match Results Release Date for each Phase of the Match, each registered applicant and training site can log in to the NMS Match System to access their personal Match result online.
The same Match result information will be provided by e-mail and in the NMS Match System. Any training site that does not receive its result by e-mail should access their result from the NMS Match System.
Information on Positions Available After Each Phase of the Match
Beginning at 11:00 a.m. ET on February 22, 2019 a list of programs participating in Phase II of the Match will be posted on this web site.
The list will include all programs that had unfilled positions from Phase I of the Match, as well as any programs that are added to the Match after Phase I. Programs that had unfilled positions in Phase I but are no longer being offered in Phase II will be shown as crossed-out. The list will be updated nightly to include all internships offering positions in Phase II of the Match.
No list of programs with unfilled positions will be provided on this web site following Phase II of the Match.
Starting on March 25 at 11:00 a.m. ET, APPIC will operate a Post-Match Vacancy Service that will provide information on available positions. Training Sites that will be eligible to post information about available positions to the Post-Match Vacancy Service include APPIC-member training sites, non-member training sites that registered for the Match, and other non-member training sites that did not register for the Match but signed a Statement of Qualification and paid a Vacancy Service fee to APPIC.
