Phase II Match Results
Phase II Match result information will be available on APPIC Phase II Match Day, March 25, 2019.
The Director of Clinical Training (DCT) of each Doctoral Program Associate (DPA) will be provided with a report of the result obtained by each of their students who registered for the Match. The Match result report will be sent by e-mail by 9:00 a.m. ET and will be posted in the NMS Match System at 10:00 a.m. ET.
Information on Positions Available After Phase II of the Match
No list of programs with unfilled positions will be provided following Phase II of the Match. However, starting on March 25, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. ET, APPIC will operate a Post-Match Vacancy Service that will provide information on unfilled or newly funded positions.
Training Sites that will be eligible to post information about available positions to the Post-Match Vacancy Service include APPIC-member sites, non-member sites that registered for the Match, and other non-member sites that did not register for the Match but completed a Post-Match Vacancy Service Participation Agreement and paid a Vacancy Service fee to APPIC.
When the results are released, the Director of Clinical Training (DCT) of each doctoral program will be provided with a report of the result obtained by each of their students who registered for the Match.
E-mail: Match result notification e-mails will be sent to all participating applicants, their DCTs, and to internship sites. The e-mails are sent in the morning of the Match Results Release Date for the Match with the intention of having all e-mails sent by 9:00 a.m. ET. Due to unreliable e-mail exchanges and inbound servers, we cannot guarantee a delivery time for the e-mails.
Web: Beginning at 10:00 a.m. ET on the Match Results Release Date for each Phase of the Match, each participating applicant, their DCT, and participating internship sites can log in to the NMS Match System to access their Match results information online.
The same Match result information will be provided by e-mail and in the NMS Match System. Any DCT that does not receive their results by e-mail should access their results from the NMS Match System.
Phase I Match Results
The DCT of each DPA can log in to the NMS Match System to access the Phase I Match result report for their students. After the Phase II Rank Order List deadline, Phase I results will be removed from the NMS Match System. Results for both Phase I and Phase II of the Match will be posted in the NMS Match System beginning at 10:00 a.m. ET on APPIC Phase II Match Day.
