The Match operates on a fixed Schedule of Dates which all participants must follow. The following are key upcoming dates:
August 2019: Internship registration e-mails for participation in the Match are sent to Training Directors.
August 2019: Applicants registration opens. Applicants must apply to internship programs independently of the Match using the AAPI Online application service.
December 1, 2019: Recommended date by which applicants should be registered for the Match.
January 20, 2020: NMS Match System opens to enter rankings for Phase I of the Match.
