What is ORMatch?
The Optometry Residency Match (ORMatch) is an Application Service and Matching Program that provides an orderly process to help applicants obtain positions of their choice, and to help programs obtain applicants of their choice.

Is my residency eligible to participate in ORMatch?
To be eligible to register and participate in ORMatch, a residency site must be affiliated with an ACOE accredited school or college of optometry. Residency Sites must also be accredited by the ACOE, except as noted in the Eligibility Requirements.

How do I register my residency to participate in ORMatch?
The Program Coordinator of each eligible residency site is sent an email with a personalized link and instructions to register their residency site for the 2024 ORMatch.
If you have not received your personalized email to register for ORMatch by August 9, 2023, please contact NMS.
In order to register for ORMatch, you will need to provide information about your residency site and agree to abide by the terms of the Program Agreement.
