How do I register for the MedPhys Match?
In order to register for the MedPhys Match, you must provide information and pay the registration fee online. You must also agree to abide by the Applicant Agreement, the Rules of the MedPhys Match, and the Schedule of Dates. You should review this information before registering.

When is the registration deadline?
It is recommended that you register to participate in the MedPhys Match by December 1, 2023.
Registrations can be accepted after December 1. However, you must be registered for the MedPhys Match before you can send applications to participating programs through MP-RAP. Furthermore, you should be registered before the entry of Rank Order Lists begins on March 4, 2024 so that programs can rank you when they enter their Rank Order Lists. No applicant registrations are allowed after March 20, 2024.

What is the fee to register for the MedPhys Match?
The applicant registration fee is $100 USD, payable by credit card when you register.

Can I get a refund of my registration fee?
No. As stated in the Applicant Agreement and on the registration payment page, the applicant registration fee is non-refundable, non-transferable and irrevocable. It cannot be refunded, transferred to another person, or used for another year, even if you withdraw from the MedPhys Match.

What login credentials do I use?
Log into the NMS Match System using the email address and password you set up when registering for the MedPhys Match. If you have changed your email or password in the NMS Match System since registering, use those new values to log in.

Can I use my login information from a previous year?
No. Registrations do not carry over from year to year. If you registered for the MedPhys Match in a previous year, you will need to register again to participate in the 2024 MedPhys Match.

How do I reset my password?
If you do not know your password, use the "Forgot Password?" link located on the NMS Match System Login page.

How do I find and use my Match Code Number?
Your Match Code Number can be found in the NMS Match System:
- Log in to the NMS Match System
- Select the Profile section on the Dashboard
- Your Match Code Number is found at the top of the page
Use your Match Code Number in all future correspondence pertaining to the MedPhys Match. You should also enter your Match Code Number into your MP-RAP application, so that the programs you apply to will be able to identify you by your Code Number.
Withdraw

What are the implications of withdrawing from the MedPhys Match?
If you withdraw, you will not be matched to a position. Any rankings of programs you may have submitted will not be used in the MedPhys Match. You will also not receive further communications about participating in the MedPhys Match from NMS. However, you will be able to access information on positions that remain available in order to seek a position after the MedPhys Match.
If you withdraw, you are still bound by the terms of the Applicant Agreement and MedPhys Match Rules. You may not contact programs regarding positions available in the Post-Match Process until after the results of the MedPhys Match are released at 12:00 p.m. noon Eastern Time on March 27, 2024. If you decide to submit rankings of programs for the MedPhys Match, you can reinstate yourself prior to the Rank Order List deadline without having to execute another Applicant Agreement.
