MedPhys Match result information will be available at 12:00 p.m. noon Eastern Time on March 30, 2022.
Content
When the results are released, the following information will be available to each residency:
- A downloadable PDF report of the applicant(s) matched to the residency, and whether or not the residency has any unfilled positions. The report will also include information on the result obtained by each applicant ranked by the residency.
- A list of applicants who certified a Rank Order List but were not matched to a position, or who withdrew but indicated they are still seeking a position. A list of programs with positions available in the Post-Match Process will be available to unmatched applicants on Match Results Day, and will become publicly available on April 13, 2022.
- Summary statistics of the results of the MedPhys Match for residencies and applicants.
Distribution
Email: Match result notification emails will be sent in the morning of March 30, 2022 with the intention of having all emails sent by 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time. Results will be sent by email to residencies that participated in the MedPhys Match (i.e., certified a Rank Order List and did not withdraw). Due to unreliable email exchanges and inbound servers, we cannot guarantee a delivery time for the emails.
Web: Match result information will be available in the NMS Match System beginning at 12:00 p.m. noon Eastern Time on March 30, 2022.
The same result information will be provided by email and online. Any residency that does not receive its result by email should access the result online.
Post-Match Process
Following release of the results, programs with unfilled positions are permitted to seek applicants and fill positions that remain available independently of MedPhys Match. No action to fill positions that remain unfilled from the MedPhys Match is to be taken prior to 12:00 p.m. noon Eastern Time on March 30, 2022. NMS is not involved in the filling of positions during the Post-Match Process.
Beginning at 12:00 p.m. noon Eastern Time on March 30, 2022, programs will have access in the NMS Match System to information on applicants who certified a Rank Order List but did not obtain a position. A list of programs with positions available in the Post-Match Process will be available to unmatched applicants on Match Results Day, and will become publicly available on April 13, 2022.
