EventMedPhys Match Results Now Available
Results of the MedPhys Match for positions beginning in 2025 are now available to participating applicants and programs in the NMS Match System.
Match result notification emails have been sent to all applicants and programs that submitted Rank Order Lists. If you have not received your Match result email, log in to the NMS Match System and access your match result online.
Programs must send letters of confirmation of the MedPhys Match result to matched applicants within 10 working days of the release of the MedPhys Match results. Applicants must return the letters of confirmation in accordance with the program's instructions within 10 days of receipt of the letter from the program.
Programs that did not fill all of their available positions can offer those positions in the Post-Match Process. Any applicant who did not obtain a position in the Match is eligible to participate in the Post-Match Process.
A List of Programs with Available Positions for the Post-Match Process is available to registered applicants in the NMS Match System. Unmatched applicants seeking positions should contact programs directly.

EventMedPhys Match results will be available March 28, 2025
Results of the MedPhys Match will be released to applicants and programs on March 28, 2025.
Result notification emails will be sent to participating applicants and programs in the morning, and will be available online in the NMS Match System starting at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time on March 28, 2025.
Programs and applicants who have matched should contact each other to acknowledge the result as soon as possible after 12:00 p.m. noon Eastern Time on March 28. Programs must send letters of confirmation of the result to matched applicants within 10 working days of the release of the MedPhys Match results. Applicants must return the letters of confirmation in accordance with the program's instructions within 10 days of receipt of the letter from the program.
Applicants who are not matched and programs with unfilled positions may participate in the Post-Match Process.

EventThe Rank Order List Deadline is 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on Friday, March 21
Applicant and program Rank Order Lists for the MedPhys Match must be entered and certified in the NMS Match System by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on Friday, March 21, 2025.
Applicants who will not be submitting any rankings should withdraw from the MedPhys Match. Applicants who withdraw are still permitted to participate in the Post-Match Process for positions that remain available after the MedPhys Match.
Programs that have no acceptable applicants to rank or wish to withdraw a program from the MedPhys Match because they no longer have positions available must also indicate this through the NMS Match System by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on Friday, March 21, 2025.

EventNMS Match System Now Open for Rankings
The NMS Match System is now available for applicants and programs to submit rankings for the MedPhys Match. The Rank Order List deadline is 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on March 21, 2025. Rank Order Lists must be entered and certified in the NMS Match System by the deadline to be used in the Match.
We strongly recommend that applicants and programs enter and certify Rank Order Lists well before the deadline date to avoid potential problems near the deadline.

Rank All Acceptable Choices
Participants may rank as many choices as they wish. Submitting a longer Rank Order List will not jeopardize your chances of matching with your most preferred choice but may increase the likelihood of getting a match.
Rank Your Choices According To Your True Preference
Don't consider how highly an applicant or program might rank you when ordering the choices on your Rank Order List. Using any strategy other
Do Not Rank Any Choice That Is Unacceptable
Applicants can only be matched with programs that are on their Rank Order List. Programs can only be matched with applicants that are on their Rank Order List. Do not rank any applicant or program that you would not want to match with under any circumstances.

EventApplicant Registration Is Open for the 2025 MedPhys Match
The MedPhys Match is now open for applicants to register to participate in the MedPhys Match for positions beginning in 2025. Registration information and instructions are available on the Applicant Registration page.
The List of Participating Programs shows the medical physics residency programs participating in the 2025 MedPhys Match. This list is updated regularly to reflect changes in program participation.
Registering for the MedPhys Match does not constitute an application to any program participating in the MedPhys Match. You must still apply to programs independently of the MedPhys Match. Many programs obtain their applications through the Medical Physics Residency Application Program (MP-RAP) provided by AAPM.

EventResidency Registration for the 2025 MedPhys Match is Now Open
Residency Registration for the 2025 MedPhys Match is now open.
Any medical physics residency offering positions that start training between June 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025, may register and participate in the MedPhys Match. Residencies do not need to be CAMPEP accredited in order to participate.
The Program Director of each eligible program has been sent a personalized link by email to register their residency for the 2025 MedPhys Match. If your program did not receive the registration email, please contact NMS for assistance.
AAPM and SDAMPP encourage all medical physics residency programs that start training on or around July 1 to participate, although programs recruiting for start dates later in the year may also want to participate and seek residents from the larger applicant pool.

About NMS Interview
NMS Interview is a module in the NMS Match System that provides an easy and automated way for programs to schedule their interviews. A free trial is available to all programs.
With NMS Interview, programs add their interview dates to the system, import a list of applicants they want to interview and send invitations online. Applicants receive the invitations and instantly self-schedule themselves into available timeslots.
Programs and applicants can manage their interview schedules in real-time from a central platform and view itineraries of their interview schedules. Programs can also import applicants from NMS Interview into their Rank Order List, which saves time and simplifies the ranking process.
Updates for this year's MedPhys Match
We have added several enhancements to NMS Interview this year.
Filtering - We've added filters to the program Interview Itinerary, Event Calendar, and Event List to help you focus on the interviews you are looking for.
Export interview schedule to a CSV file - Programs can export their interview schedule from NMS Interview into a CSV file which can be opened in Microsoft Excel or imported to your personal calendar.
Add multiple consecutive events in one action - Programs can now schedule back-to-back interviews on the same day in one action. Simply set the start and end times for the desired time block and select the duration for each consecutive event. You can also add a break or buffer time between each event if needed.
Bulk-assign candidates to Groups - Programs can now select multiple candidates and assign them all to a selected group simultaneously.
