Key Dates

October 7, 2025: The NMS Match System opens for applicants to register for the MedPhys Match and begin preparing and submitting applications. Prior to registering, applicants should review the Applicant Registration page.

December 1, 2025: Recommended date by which applicants should register for the MedPhys Match.

March 2, 2026: The online NMS Match System will open for Match participants to submit Rank Order Lists.

March 20, 2026: Final date for submission of applicant and residency Rank Order Lists. No applicant registrations or withdrawals after this date.

March 27, 2026: The results of the MedPhys Match are released to applicants and residencies.

MedPhys Match Overview

The MedPhys Match provides an orderly process to help applicants obtain positions in Medical Physics residencies of their choice, and to help residencies obtain applicants of their choice.

Rules & Eligibility

Each applicant and residency must accept an Agreement when they register to participate in the MedPhys Match, and must agree to abide by the Rules of Participation.
