Post-Match Process
Unmatched applicants are permitted to seek positions and programs are permitted to fill positions that remain available independently of the Dental Match. Unmatched applicants should contact programs directly regarding eligibility, application, and admission requirements.
Registered applicants who did not obtain a position can log into the NMS Match System to access the List of Programs with Available Positions. This list provides the number of positions available and the contact information for each program. Programs may update the information on the list as positions fill or new positions become available.
Programs have access to information on applicants who either certified a Rank Order List but were not matched or withdrew but indicated they were interested in seeking a position in the Post-Match Process.
Applicants who did not register for the Match but now want to access to the List Programs with Available Positions must contact NMS to request access and pay a $100 USD access fee.

The NMS Match System closes on at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on April 15, 2025. After this date, Match results and Post-Match information will no longer be accessible.
