Content

When the results of each Phase of the Match are released, the following information will be available to schools:

  • A report of the Match results obtained by students from your school
  • A list of positions that remain available after the Match
  • Summary statistics of the results of the Match for applicants and residencies

This information will enable you to offer counseling and assistance to those students from your school who are seeking postdoctoral positions, but who were not successful in this year's Match.

Distribution

Match result notification emails will be sent to the contact person on file for your school. Applicants and residencies that certified Rank Order Lists will also receive notification of their results by email.

The emails are sent in the morning of the Match Results Day for each Phase of the Match with the intention of having all emails sent by 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time. Due to unreliable email exchanges and inbound servers, we cannot guarantee a delivery time for the emails.

Beginning at 12:00 p.m. noon Eastern Time on the Match Results Day for each Phase of the Match, the Match Results Report for your school will be available for download from the NMS Match System.

Statistics

Aggregate statistics on the participation and outcome of the Match will be posted online beginning at 12:00 p.m. noon Eastern Time on the Match Results Day for each Phase of the Match.
