Distribution
Email: Match result notification emails will be sent to each applicant and each program that submitted a Rank Order List. The emails are sent on the morning of the Match Results Day for each Phase of the Match with the goal of having all emails sent by 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time. However, due to unreliable email exchanges and inbound servers, delivery times cannot be guaranteed.
Web: Starting at 12:00 p.m. noon Eastern Time on the Match Results Day for each Phase of the Match, each registered applicant and program can log into the NMS Match System to view their personal Match result online.
The same Match result information will be provided by email and online. If you do not receive your email, you should access your result through the NMS Match System. Although NMS makes every effort to provide you with your Match result on the Match Results Day, failure to receive your result on that day does not affect your obligation to the program to which you are matched.
Contact with Program: If you match, contact the program as soon as possible after 12:00 p.m. noon Eastern Time on the Match Results Day to acknowledge the Match result. Programs must send letters of confirmation of the Match results to matched applicants within 10 days of the Match Results Day. Matched applicants must return the letter of confirmation in accordance with the program's instructions within 30 days.
Statistics
Aggregate statistics on the results of the Match will be posted online beginning at 12:00 p.m. noon Eastern Time on the Match Results Day for each Phase of the Match.
