The Dental Match operates on a fixed Schedule of Dates which all participants must follow. The following are key upcoming dates:
May 6, 2026: Program registration opens. Program Directors will receive a personalized email with instructions to complete registration online using the NMS Match System.
May 13, 2026: Applicant registration opens. Applicants are encouraged to register by October 1, 2026. Prior to registering, applicants should review the information in the Applicant Registration section.
August 1, 2026: The list of programs participating in the Dental Match is posted on the website. Programs may update their participation status after this date.
October 26, 2026: Phase I Rankings Open
Applicants and programs may begin submitting Rank Order Lists for Phase I of the Match for ORTHO, PERIO, PROS, ANES, AEGD, US GPR, and Canadian GPR positions using the NMS Match System.
