Match Results

Registered applicants must log into the NMS Match System to access their Match result.

• Match Result Information Available
  • All applicants have access to information on whether or not they matched to a position. Matched applicants are told the program to which they matched.
  • A list of programs with positions available for the Post-Match Process is available only to registered applicants who did not obtain a position.
  • Summary statistics of the results of the Match for applicants and programs are available.

Although NMS makes every effort to provide you with your Match result expeditiously, failure to receive your result in a timely manner does not affect your obligation to the program where you are matched.

If you matched, the program where you matched will send you a letter of confirmation within 10 working days of the release of the Chiro Match results. You must return the letter in accordance with the program's instructions within 30 days of the release of the Chiro Match results.

If you did not obtain a position in the match, you may participate in the Post-Match Process for available positions.

If a program does not honor its Match commitment, report the case to NMS.

Post-Match Process

Applicants who are not matched are permitted to seek and fill positions that remain available independently of the Chiro Match. NMS is not involved in the filling of positions during the Post-Match Process.

Applicants who are not matched can log into the NMS Match System to access a List of Programs with Available Positions. The List can be updated by programs at any time, so applicants are encouraged to check the list regularly.

Programs have access to contact information for applicants who submitted applications or ranks but were not matched, or who withdrew but indicated they were interested in seeking a position in the Post-Match Process.

Registered applicants can download their previously submitted applications from the NMS Match System. Applications for the Post-Match Process must be sent to programs directly (e.g., via email), not through the NMS Match System. Contact the programs you are interested in if you have questions about their application procedures for the Post-Match Process.

The NMS Match System will close on April 30, 2025. Applicants will not be able to access any information in the NMS Match System after that date.
