Match Results
Registered applicants must log in to the NMS Match System to access their Match result. Applicants who are not matched will have access to the List of Programs with Available Positions.

Match Result Information Available in the NMS Match System
- The Match result obtained by each individual applicant.
- For unmatched applicants - a list of positions that remain available after the Match. Programs with available positions will be able to access a list of applicants who certified a Rank Order List but did not obtain a position.
If you matched, the program will send you an appointment agreement postmarked no later than 72 hours following receipt of the Match results.
If you did not match, you may participate in the Post-Match Process for any available positions.
Although NMS makes every effort to provide you with your Match result expeditiously, failure to receive your result in a timely manner does not affect your obligation to the program where you are matched.

Post-Match Process
No action to fill positions remaining unfilled after the Match is to be taken prior to 12:00 p.m. noon ET on March 4, 2019. Following release of the Match results, unmatched applicants are permitted to seek positions and programs are permitted to fill positions that remain available independently of the Match. NMS is not involved in the filling of positions during the Post-Match Process.
Applicants who are not matched can Log in to the NMS Match System to access the List of Programs with Available Positions. This list provides the number of positions available and the contact information for each program. Programs may update the information on the list as positions fill or new positions become available.
Programs will have access to information on applicants who submitted Rank Order Lists but were not matched.
