Applicant Registration: Beginning in September, applicants can register for the APPCN Match online via this website. Prior to registering, applicants should review the information in the Applicant Registration section of this website. Applicants must contact and apply to programs independently of the APPCN Match. Application deadlines for programs vary; therefore, applicants should check with programs regarding their deadline dates. |
| November 30, 2024 | By this date, a list of programs participating in the Match is available on this website. This list is updated regularly to reflect changes in program participation. |
| January 13, 2025 | Recommended date by which applicants should register for the Match. |
| January 22, 2025 |
Rankings Open: Applicants and programs may begin to submit Rank Order Lists for the Match using the NMS Match System. |

Rank Order List Deadline: Final date for submission of applicant and program Rank Order Lists. No Rank Order Lists, applicant or program registrations, or withdrawals can be submitted in the NMS Match System after 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. |
| February 19, 2025 |
APPCN Match Day: Results of the APPCN Match are released to applicants and Program Directors. No action to fill positions remaining unfilled is to be taken prior to 12:00 p.m. noon Eastern Time. Program Directors must send letters of confirmation of the APPCN Match result to matched applicants, according to APPCN Match Policies. Unmatched applicants are permitted to seek positions and programs are permitted to fill positions that remain available independently of the APPCN Match beginning at 12:00 p.m. noon Eastern Time. |
| April 30, 2025 | NMS Match System Closes: After this date, information regarding the results of the Match for applicants and programs, as well as lists of unfilled positions and unmatched applicants, will no longer be available. |
