Only programs that are approved by the Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO) may participate in the SSO Breast Match. Programs that participate in the SSO Breast Match must offer all SSO-approved fellowship positions through the SSO Breast Match.
SSO reviews and approves fellowship training programs yearly and accepts new applications up to February 15 each year. Contact the SSO Training Department for more information about submitting an application at 847-427-1400 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
You must be registered for the SSO Breast Match in order to receive applications from applicants using the SSO Breast Match Application Service, submit your Rank Order List, and be ranked by applicants.
Program registration will open on January 5, 2022.
The Program Director of each SSO-approved program is sent an email from the SSO Breast Match with a personalized link and instructions for registering their program. If you have not received a registration email by the end of the day on January 5, 2022, please contact NMS.
SSO Breast Match is a service sponsored by SSO. Programs do not pay fees to register for or use the SSO Breast Match.
Consult the Registration Guide for step-by-step instructions for registering for SSO Breast Match.
After You Register
After the online registration process is complete, you will receive a confirmation by email which will include the Match Code Number and description for each track you registered for the SSO Breast Match. You should provide your applicants with the Match Code Number as it uniquely identifies your track in the Match.
Updating Your Program and Track Information
Once your program is registered, you can log into the NMS Match System to update your program or track information. This includes modifying the number of positions offered in a track, adding an additional track to your program, withdrawing a track if you no longer intend to offer any positions in the track, or modifying your contact information.
