Registration Guide

2025 Breast Match

1

Start the Registration Process

1.

Use the link in the registration email to start the registration process.
Each program is sent a unique registration link from the Breast Match. If you have not received a personalized email to register your program by the end of the day on December 2, 2024, please contact NMS.

2.

If your program will not be offering any positions in the 2026-2027 fellowship academic year, do not complete the registration process; instead, use the appropriate link provided in the registration email sent to your program to indicate the program will not be participating in the 2025 Breast Match.

2

Set Up Your Account

Each Program Director will need to set up a new account in the NMS Match System for the 2025 Breast Match.

1.

Enter the email address of the Program Director.
The email address you enter will uniquely identify your account and will be your username for the NMS Match System.

  • If you are responsible for more than one program, you can use the same account (email and password) for all your programs.
  • If the email address entered is different from the one pre-populated on the screen, or if an account already exists with that email address, you will need to follow the onscreen prompts to confirm ownership of the email address.
2.

Provide a password and complete the security questions for your account.

Once your account has been created, you can log into the NMS Match System. If you quit the registration process before it is completed, you can log in at another time and complete the process.

PLEASE NOTE: To ensure emails from NMS are not inadvertently directed to your "Spam" or "Junk Mail" folder, please ensure all NMS emails and/or IPs are included on your Allow-List.

Submit Program and Track Information

Submit Program
and Track Information

The Program and Track Information page is where you provide information about your program and the tracks that will be offered in the Breast Match.

1.

Program Information

If any of the information is incorrect, or is not pre-populated on the page, please update that information accordingly.

2.

Track Information

Track Description
Each program will offer one or more tracks in the Breast Match. A track refers to a specific stream or type of training.

Each track offered by your program in the Breast Match must have a unique track description. Track descriptions can be a maximum of 50 characters including spaces between words.

Positions Available
You must verify or provide the number of positions to be filled in the 2026-2027 fellowship academic year for each track offered in the Breast Match. You should ensure that the number of positions to be filled across all tracks at your program is aligned with your BSO-approved fellowship complement. All BSO-approved 2026-2027 fellowship academic year positions at your program must be offered in the Breast Match.

In order to change the number of positions offered in the Match, you must submit a Fellowship Complement Increase/Decrease Form to the BSO Training Committee by March 1, 2025. The BSO Training Committee must approve the request prior to the Rank Order List deadline.

3.

Once all the information on the Program and Track information page has been entered correctly, select the Continue button.
