What is the Breast Match?
The Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship Match (Breast Match) is an Application Service and Matching Program that provides an orderly process to help applicants obtain positions of their choice, and to help programs obtain applicants of their choice.

Is my program eligible to participate in Breast Match?
Only breast surgical oncology fellowship training programs that are approved by the BSO Training Committee may participate in the Breast Match.
The BSO Training Committee reviews and approves breast surgical oncology fellowship training programs yearly and accepts new applications up to January 15 each year. Contact the BSO Training Committee for more information about submitting an application at 847-427-1400 or fellowship@surgonc.org.

How do I register my program to participate in the Breast Match?
The Program Director of each eligible program is sent an email with a personalized link and instructions to register their program for the 2026 Breast Match.
If you have not received your personalized email to register for the Breast Match by the end of the day on December 1, 2025, please contact NMS.
In order to register for the Breast Match, you will need to provide information about your program and electronically sign the Program Agreement.
