How do I register for Breast Match?
You register for Breast Match online in the NMS Match System. You will need to provide information about yourself, accept the Breast Match Applicant Agreement, and pay a non-refundable registration fee.

What are the rules of Breast Match?
All applicants and programs must agree to abide by the Breast Match Rules, the Schedule of Dates, and the terms of the Match Agreements when they register for the Breast Match.

When is the registration deadline?
You must register and have all applications submitted for the Breast Match by January 16, 2026. You must be registered for Breast Match in order to send applications to programs using the Application Service.

What does it cost to participate in the Breast Match?
There is a fee of $325 USD to register for Breast Match.
The registration fee to participate in Breast Match includes credits to send 15 applications to programs using the Application Service; additional application credits can be purchased at a cost of $30 USD per credit.
All Breast Match fees are non-refundable (even if you subsequently decide to withdraw from Breast Match) and are not transferable to future years or to other applicants.

Can I get a refund of my registration fee?
No. As stated in the Applicant Agreement and on the registration and application credit payment pages, Breast Match fees are non-refundable, non-transferable, and irrevocable. They cannot be refunded, transferred to another person, or used for another year.

What login credentials do I use?
Log into the NMS Match System using the email address and password you set up when registering for the Breast Match. If you have changed your email or password in the NMS Match System since registering, use those new values to log in.

How do I reset my password?
If you do not know your password, use the "Forgot Password?" link located on the NMS Match System Login page.

Where do I find my Support PIN for the NMS Match System?
The support PIN can be found on your Account Page of the NMS Match System. Log in to the NMS Match System and choose Account from the menu.
The support PIN is a secret number that you can use to verify your identity and ownership of the account when you contact NMS support. The PIN must be 6 digits and may not begin with a zero.

How do I find my Match Code Number?
Your Match Code Number is shown in the NMS Match System:
- Log in to the NMS Match System
- Select the Profile section on the Dashboard
- Your Match Code Number will be found at the top of the page
Withdraw

What are the implications of withdrawing from the Breast Match?
If you withdraw, you will not be matched to a position. Any rankings you may have submitted will not be used in the Match. You will also not receive further communication about participating in the Breast Match from NMS. However, you will still have access to the List of Programs with Available Positions that is posted for the Post-Match Process.
Applicants who withdraw from the Breast Match will be displayed to programs within the NMS Match System as withdrawn.
Withdrawing from the Breast Match does not effect your eligibility to participate in the Post-Match Process, or to participate in the Breast Match in future years.
