  • When is the registration deadline?

    Most programs will register by the middle of August, 2024, although registrations can be accepted after that date. You should register as soon as possible so your program can be added to the List of Participating Programs when it is posted on September 4, 2024, and applicants will know that your program is participating in the GC Admissions Match.

    You should ensure that your program is registered well before the final deadline, April 8, 2025, so that your program has enough time to collect applications, interview and evaluate applicants, and submit a Rank Order List.

  • What login credentials do I use?

    To log into the NMS Match System, use the email and password you established when you registered your program for the 2025 Match. Account credentials are not carried over from previous years.

  • Can I add additional users who will have access to my account?

    Yes, Program Directors can add secondary users who will have access to their program in the NMS Match System. Program Directors manage users from the Account page.

    Secondary users are assigned Limited Permissions. They can view, manage, and change all program and track information, including the number of positions offered and rank order lists, but they are not allowed to create or manage other users. They are also be copied on relevant automated emails (e.g., confirmations, reminders, etc.) sent to the Program Director from the NMS Match System.

  • What do I need to do as a new Program Director?

    For programs not yet registered to participate in the Match:

    If possible, access the registration email sent to your program and use the link in that email to initiate the registration process and update the Program Director name and email address.

    If you cannot access the registration email, contact NMS to request that we resend you the email. You will need to submit to NMS a signed, written request on program letterhead with the following information:

    • Program name
    • Program Director name
    • Program Director email address

    All programs must be Full Members or Associate Members of GCEA in good standing and be accredited by ACGC by March 15, 2025 in order to participate in the Match.

    For programs already registered to participate in the Match:

    You will need to obtain access to the NMS Match System for your program. If you can obtain the NMS Match System login credentials from the previous Program Director, you should log into the NMS Match System using those login credentials and update the Account and Profile information for your program.

    If you cannot obtain the login credentials from the previous Program Director, please contact NMS. You will have to submit a signed, written request on program letterhead notifying NMS of the change in Program Director and asking for the login credentials to be reset.

  • How do I add a new track?

    Important Notices for Adding New Tracks

    • The description of the new track must be unique and clearly distinguish that track from any other track offered by your program
    • The description of your existing track(s) may also need to be altered to ensure they are distinct and descriptive of the track offering
    • Each new track must offer at least one position
    • The new track will be assigned a Match Code Number automatically by the NMS Match System

    For programs not yet registered to participate in the Match:

    • Access the online registration system using the link provided in the registration email sent to the program by NMS, or Log in to the NMS Match System if you have already created an account in the NMS Match System
    • Select the Add New Track link at the bottom of the track information section of the Program and Track Information page
    • Enter the number of positions to be offered in the track and a track description
    • Select the Add button
