• How do I apply to programs?

  Applications are submitted to programs independently of the Match. Contact each program you are interested into find out how to send an application to the program.

  You must be registered for the Match in order for your applications to be considered by participating programs.

  No. Applications are not submitted to programs through the Match. Contact each program you are interested into find out how to send an application to the program.

• What if I get an offer from a program that is not participating in the Match?

  You must decide prior to the Rank Order List deadline whether you want to accept the position from the non-Match program, or participate in the Match. If you accept the position from a non-Match program, you must withdraw from the Match prior to the Rank Order List deadline. If you participate in the Match and are matched to a position, you must accept the matched position. If you refuse to accept the Match result, your actions will be reported to the GCEA and penalties may be imposed as outlined in the Applicant Agreement.

Interviews

• What should I do if I did not get any interviews?

  If you did not obtain any interviews, you should withdraw from the Match. Applicants who withdraw are still able to access information regarding unfilled positions after the Match.
