Key Dates

The Match operates on a fixed Schedule of Dates which all participants must follow. The following are key upcoming dates:

July 2024: Program registration emails for participation in the Match are sent to Program Directors.

September 4, 2024: Match registration opens for applicants. The list of programs participating in the Match is available.

December 11, 2024: Program Directors can review a list of registered applicants to verify their applicants are registered for the Match.

Additional Match Information

The GC Admissions Match provides an orderly process to help applicants obtain positions in masters-level genetic counseling programs of their choice, and to help programs obtain applicants of their choice.

Rules of Participation

Each applicant and program must accept the terms of the Match Agreements when they register to participate in the Match, and must agree to abide by the Rules of Participation.
