  • What login credentials do I use?

    Academic Programs will be sent log in credentials for the Extern Match Portal in November, 2025. If you do not have your login credentials by December 1, 2025, please contact NMS.

  • Where do I find my Support PIN for the Extern Match Portal?

    The support PIN can be found on your Account Page of the Extern Match Portal. Log in to the Extern Match Portal and choose Account from the menu.

    The support PIN is a secret number that you can use to verify your identity and ownership of the account when you contact NMS support. The PIN must be 6 digits and may not begin with a zero.

  • Can we have more than one contact person for Extern Match at our academic program?

    Yes, the Director of Clinical Training at the academic program can add secondary users who will have access to their academic program's information in the Extern Match Portal. The Director of Clinical Training manages users from the Account page.

    Secondary users are provided with Limited Permissions. They can view, manage, and change all academic program information but they are not allowed to create or manage other users. They will also be copied on relevant automated emails (e.g., confirmations, reminders, etc.) sent to the academic program from the Extern Match Portal.
