Registration & Fees

  • How do I register my residency to participate in the Dental Match?

The Program Director of each accredited AEGD, ANES, GPR, OMS, ORTHO, PED, PERIO, and PROS residency is sent an email with a personalized link and instructions to register their residency for the 2024 Match.

If you have not received your personalized email to register for the Match by May 11, 2023, please contact NMS.

In order to register for the Match, you will need to provide information about your residency and agree to abide by the terms of the Residency Agreement. You will also need to pay a Match registration fee, which can be paid at the time of registration or at a later date.

  • When is the registration deadline?

It is recommended that you register your residency to participate in the Dental Match by May 31, 2023, although registrations can be accepted after that date. You should register as soon as possible so your program can be added to the List of Participating Programs and applicants will know that your residency is participating in the Dental Match.

It takes many programs a significant amount of time to collect applications and schedule interviews. Many applicants submit their rankings of programs before the Rank Order List deadline. Therefore you should ensure that your program is registered well before the final deadlines listed below so that it has enough time to evaluate and be ranked by applicants.

The final deadline for ORTHO, PERIO, PROS, ANES and Canadian GPR programs to register to participate in the Match is November 13, 2023. The final deadline for AEGD, US GPR, OMS and PED programs to register to participate in the Match is January 12, 2024.
