EventChiro Match Results Now Available
Results of the Chiro Match for positions beginning in 2025 are now available to participating applicants and programs in the NMS Match System.
Match result notification emails have been sent to all applicants and programs that submitted Rank Order Lists. If you have not received your Match result email, log in to the NMS Match System and access your Match result online.
Programs and their matched applicant(s) should contact each other to acknowledge the Match result as soon as possible after 12:00 p.m. noon Eastern Time on February 26, 2025. Programs must send letters of confirmation of the result to each matched applicant within 10 days of the release of the results, and applicants must sign and return the letters to the programs in accordance with the program's instructions within 30 days of the release of the results.
Programs that did not fill all of their available positions can offer those positions in the Post-Match Process. Any applicant who did not obtain a position in the Match is eligible to participate in the Post-Match Process. Registered applicants can access a List of Programs with Available Positions in the NMS Match System.

EventChiro Match Results will be Available February 26
Results of the Chiro Match for positions beginning in 2025 will be released to applicants and programs on February 26, 2025.
Match result notification emails will be sent to participating applicants and programs in the morning and will be available online in the NMS Match System starting at 12:00 p.m. noon Eastern Time on February 26, 2025.
Programs and applicants who have matched should contact the other party after 12:00 p.m. noon Eastern Time on February 26, 2025, to acknowledge the result. No contact between applicants and programs should take place on February 26 prior to 12:00 p.m. noon Eastern Time.
Programs must send letters of confirmation of the Chiro Match results to matched applicants within 10 working days of the release of the Chiro Match results. Applicants must sign and return the letters of confirmation in accordance with program instructions within 30 days of the release of the Chiro Match results.
Applicants who are not matched and programs with unfilled positions or have new positions become available may participate in the Post-Match Process.

EventThe Rank Order List Deadline is February 19
Applicant and program Rank Order Lists for the Chiro Match must be entered and certified in the NMS Match System by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
Applicants who will not be submitting any rankings should withdraw from the Match. Applicants who withdraw are still permitted to participate in the Post-Match Process for positions that remain available after the Match.
Programs that have no acceptable applicants to rank or wish to withdraw a program from the Match because they no longer have positions available must also indicate this through the NMS Match System by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

EventNMS Match System Now Open for Rankings
The NMS Match System is now available for applicants and programs to submit rankings for the Chiro Match. The Rank Order List deadline is 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on February 19, 2025. Rank Order Lists must be entered and certified in the NMS Match System by the deadline to be used in the Match.
We strongly recommend that applicants and programs enter and certify Rank Order Lists well before the deadline date to avoid potential problems near the deadline

We want to remind you of several best practices that you should use when submitting a Rank Order List for the Match:
Rank All Acceptable Choices
Participants may rank as many choices as they wish. Submitting a longer Rank Order List will not jeopardize your chances of matching with your most preferred choice but may increase the likelihood of getting a match.
Rank Your Choices According To Your True Preference
Don't consider how highly an applicant or program might rank you when ordering the choices on your Rank Order List. Using any strategy other than ranking according to your true preference may lead to a worse result for you.
Do Not Rank Any Choice That Is Unacceptable
Applicants can only be matched with programs that are on their Rank Order List. Programs can only be matched with applicants that are on their Rank Order List. Do not rank any applicant or program that you would not want to match with under any circumstances.

EventDefault Application Deadline is January 24
The default application deadline for programs participating in the Chiro Match is January 24, 2025. Programs are permitted, but are not obligated, to extend their individual application deadline past this date. Applications must be submitted before 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on the deadline date set by the program.
Applicants should not wait until a program’s application deadline to submit their applications. Submitting applications early ensures there is time to address any unexpected issues that may arise.
Applications can be submitted before letters of reference are received. Submitted applications will be updated automatically as soon as the letter is uploaded by the reference writer.

The Chiro Match is now open for applicants to register for residency positions beginning in 2025. Match registration information and instructions are available on the Applicant Registration page.
The List of Participating Programs shows the programs participating in the 2025 Chiro Match. This list is updated regularly, whenever there are updates to information about programs participating in the Match.
Registered applicants can use the NMS Match System to prepare and submit applications to programs participating in the Chiro Match. Information on submitting applications is available on the Applications page.

Best PracticesApplication Tips for Applicants
Here are some tips for preparing and submitting your applications:
1. Add Programs to Your List of Pending Applications
As soon as you find a program of interest, add the program to your list of pending applications in the NMS Match System. The program will be notified of your interest and will have access to your contact information. Some programs may contact you with more information, others may not. You can remove a pending application at any time if you are no longer interested in the program.
2. Allow Sufficient Time to Accommodate Unexpected Delays
We strongly recommend that you allocate more than enough time for each step of the application process (e.g., writing personal statements, contacting reference writers, etc.), and plan to submit each application well before the program’s application deadline date. This will enable you to address any unexpected issues that may arise in each step of the process.

3. Customize Your Application Content
You can prepare and upload multiple personal statements or CVs, and send different versions to different programs. Be sure to give each document a unique and descriptive name so that you know which document you are including when you assemble each application.
4. Contact Your Reference Writers
Each application must include 3 letters of reference from different reference writers. You may request as many different letters of reference as you wish, and you can attach different letters to each application.
You should let your reference writers know each program’s application deadline date, and follow up with any reference writers who have not provided their letters as the application deadline approaches.
You can submit your application before the reference letters have been received. Your application will be updated automatically and the program(s) will be notified as your reference letters are received.

EventProgram Registration Open for the 2025 Chiro Match
Program Registration for the 2025 Chiro Match is now open.
The Program Director of each eligible residency is sent a personalized link by email to register their program for the 2025 Chiro Match. If your program does not receive the registration email by November 5, 2024, please contact NMS for assistance.

FeatureNew Features in the NMS Match System
We have added several new features to the NMS Match System for the 2025 Chiro Match.
Applications
More Tag Colors for Organizing Applications - We've increased the number of colors available for programs to tag applications from 6 to 18.
Enhanced Application Exports - The export feature has been enhanced to give programs the option to download a single zip file with all of their submitted PDF applications.
DC Transcripts Added To Application - Applicants are now required to upload a copy of their unofficial transcript as part of their application.
Interviews
Enhanced Event Filtering - New filtering capabilities have been added to the interview calendar, event list, and interview itinerary to make it easier for sites with multiple interview types to identify and manage their events.
Simplified Schedule Creation - Programs can now schedule back-to-back interviews in one action. Simply select the start and end times for the desired time block and select the duration for each event. You can also add a break or buffer time between each event if desired.
Interview Schedule Export - Programs can export their full interview schedule into a CSV file which can be opened in Microsoft Excel or imported to a personal calendar.
