Registration & Fees

  • How do I register my residency site to participate in the APPCN Match?

    APPCN Members

Residency sites that are members of APPCN are required to participate in the Match if they have positions available that begin training in 2024. Program Directors will be sent an email with a personalized link and instructions to register their residency site for the 2024 Match. If you have not received an email to register your residency site by September 30, please contact NMS.

    Non-Members of APPCN

Residency sites that are not members of APPCN may also participate in the Match provided they meet certain minimal qualifications as outlined in the Statement of Qualification for Non-Members of APPCN, agree to abide by the Residency Site Agreement and APPCN Match Policies, and pay a Match registration fee of $350 USD.

If you are interested in registering for the Match but have not received a registration email, please contact NMS.

  • How can I pay my registration fee?

Residency sites that are not members of APPCN must pay a fee to register for the Match. Your Match registration will not be completed until you pay the registration fee.

Registration fees can be paid online at the time of registration by credit card. Alternatively, residency sites can be issued an invoice which can be paid by credit card or check:

    Pay Invoice By Credit Card
Invoices can be paid online by VISA or Master Card.

    Pay Invoice By Check
Checks should be made payable to National Matching Services Inc. and mailed (with sufficient postage to Canada) or sent by courier delivery service to:

    • National Matching Services Inc..
    • 20 Holly St, Suite 301
    • Toronto, Ontario, Canada
    • M4S 3B1
  • When is the registration deadline?

It is recommended that you register your residency site to participate in the APPCN Match prior to November 30, 2023, although registrations can be accepted after that date. You should register as soon as possible so your residency site can be added to the List of Participating Programs when it is posted on November 30, 2023, and applicants will know that your residency site is participating in the APPCN Match.

The absolute final deadline to register for the Match is February 14, 2024. However, you should ensure that your residency site is registered well before the final deadline so that your residency site has enough time to collect applications, interview and evaluate applicants, and submit a Rank Order List. Furthermore, applicants will not be able to rank your program(s) until your residency site is registered for the Match.
